The HECHT PRIME city e-bike is a reliable bike, designed for everyday use in the city and in the countryside. The low-slung frame allows easy mounting and dismounting. The automatically switching electric motor helps significantly when pedalling. You can even ride uphill without the slightest effort. The controls are just as easy to operate as on a normal bike. The assistance is activated at the touch of a button and the electronics take care of everything else. The motor only starts to assist when you start pedalling, once you stop, the motor switches off. So even seniors can ride the bike without any problems. This makes it ideal for everyday commuting, shopping, visiting and also for riding around the countryside. Using the buttons on the left handlebar, you can set 5 levels in which the motor will assist you, or switch the assistance off completely. With the assistance, it's no problem to ride easily up a hill that will make even the hardiest athletes sweat. It is equipped with a spacious basket in front of the handlebars and a rack. Underneath the rack is a modern li-ion battery, with which the bike can travel up to 60 km on a single charge. The bike itself is easy to operate. Everything is controlled by three buttons on the left handlebar. You can switch the e-bike on or off by long-pressing the M button; by short-pressing this button you can switch the information shown on the display. The plus/minus (+/-) buttons then adjust the intensity of the assistance in five steps. The walking assistant is also an interesting feature. By pressing the minus (-) button for two seconds, the bike switches to walk assist mode and starts moving at approximately 6 km/h. You will certainly use this function, for example, if you are pushing the bike up a steep hill. The walk assist is only activated if you hold down the minus (-) button. When you release the button, the bike stops immediately. The Li-ion battery has a capacity of 10.4 Ah at 36 V. From full discharge, the battery is fully charged with the supplied charger (included) in approximately 5 hours. The maximum speed of the assisted bicycle is 25 km/h, after reaching this speed the assist automatically disconnects and reactivates when the speed drops below 25 km/h. The bicycle thus meets the conditions for road traffic set by the current legislation for the Czech Republic and most other EU countries.

The range of the assisted bike per charge is approximately 60 km. The bike can be used with the assistance switched off, but it is necessary to take into account that the integrated motor with gears in the rear hub puts a slight resistance when riding. Finally, even those who have health problems or are unsure of their fitness can enjoy trips and cycling. Compared to a conventional bicycle, an e-bike has the advantage that you won't get tired while riding - you can get to work or school without breaking a sweat on the way.
