HECHT GG6500 is silent, stable and efficient generator. It is powered by 4-stroke engine with an output of 13HP and displacement of 389cm³. It is equipped with an electric starter, so an engine is started by turning of the key, like a car. In case of the battery discharge, there is also possibility of manual start by using of the starting rope.
On the main control panel is placed a digital display to check the generated voltage (voltmeter), oil level warning light, the circuit breakers of all sockets and a clip for a voltage earthing. On the left side of the panel are placed the three sockets. The first and second sockets are standard 230V/50Hz (16A), and the next one is an industrial single-phase socket 230V/50Hz (32A). This socket is designed to connect all appliances or mains with voltage over 16A (usually used socket). The generator is therefore suitable for use as an emergency power unit or power supply for mobile service centers. Under the main sockets is placed a terminal 12V DC with the separate circuit braker. The maximum voltage is 8,3A. This terminal can be used also for powered of some 12V appliances or can be used to charge of some 12V batteries. However, it isnt equipped with a variable charging so you need to check the battery charging level continuously and timely disconnect.
The generator has a permanent power output of 5000W, but may be temporarily loaded up to maximum power output of 5500W, by starting power of some appliances. This model is equipped with AVR (Automatic Voltage Regulation) which prevents the voltage fluctuation in case the change of the load. The fuel tank has a control of the fuel lever and its capacity is 25liters. The continous operating time is 8 hours at maximum.
This generator is fixed in the frame of steel tubes - it is equipped with the wheels and a tilt handle. Thank to this frame is easy to move the machine with weight of 84kg. These parametres allows the machine to use as a power supply for buildings; it can be also used as a standby power for electric parts of some solid fuel boilers, etc.
Some electrical appliances, when starting, can take for a short time more electric power then in normal operating; electric motor and other appliances using an induction, can take for a short time three times more power then normal input power. It is possible to calculate approx. required power by “starting coefficient“, which can be multiplied by normal input power of connected appliance. Then, for example, a coefficient 1 will be multiplied by appliances such as a hair dryer, a heat gun, fryer, blender, oven, iron, toaster, vacuum cleaner and a table lamp. Coefficient 2 then applies generally to electric lawn mowers, grinder, hedge trimmer, electric chainsaw, washer etc. Coefficient 3 applies usualy to compressors, pressure washers and mixers but f.e. refrigerators, freezers or air-conditioner may even exceed the coefficient 3. In practice it means, then an appliance with power input 600W and coefficient of 2, requires maximum power output of generator at 1200W at least.Read more
