HECHT 2030 is a fully automatic charger for charging lead-acid (Pb, LEAD-ACID), gel and AGM batteries with a voltage of 6 or 12 V and a capacity from 2 to 30 Ah, i.e. most batteries used in cars and motorcycles, for example. It detects the battery type and selects the correct voltage and the most suitable charging mode when connected. It does not matter whether you want to charge a 6 V motorcycle battery or a large 12 V battery, the charger only needs to be connected to the battery contacts and the only concern of the operator is to observe the correct polarity when connecting. When fully charged the battery switches automatically to the so-called maintenance mode, in which it only checks the battery status and keeps it fully charged at all times. The charging progress and battery status is indicated by indicator lights. The charger is also able to detect some battery faults such as short circuit, low or high voltage, etc. A total of 5 charging steps take place during the charging process.

The charger is equipped with cables (lengths from 1.5 m), has short circuit and reverse polarity protection.

The charger is powered from the 230V / 50 Hz mains supply. If you want to use the charger permanently in one place, it is also equipped with holes for attaching it to the wall (for example), so that it does not take up space on the table.

The charger is not intended for charging batteries other than those mentioned above (e.g. NiCd, Ni-Fe, Li-ion etc. cannot be charged).
