ACCU Cultivator - HECHT 7026

The HECHT 7026 cordless cultivator is the ideal solution for loosening soil, preparing beds before planting or incorporating fertiliser and peat into the ground in small to medium-sized gardens. The main advantage of the machine is its membership of the ACCU PROGRAM 1278, which means it is compatible with 20V Li-ion batteries that you can use for dozens of other HECHT brand machines. Thanks to the absence of a power cable and the quiet electric motor, it offers maximum freedom of movement without emissions and excessive noise, which you and your neighbours will appreciate.

The machine is fitted with four sets of cultivation blades with a diameter of 20 cm, which reach speeds of up to 170 revolutions per minute. This configuration ensures efficient clod breaking and soil aeration. The cultivator's design emphasises ergonomics and easy storage – the handle can be easily folded using wing nuts, saving space in the workshop. In addition, it is equipped with transport wheels that make it easier to move the machine between individual beds.

Safety

When working with the cultivator, it is essential to wear sturdy footwear and protective goggles to prevent injury from flying stones. Before each use, check that all screws and blades are firmly tightened. The machine is equipped with a safety lock against accidental start-up, which must be pressed simultaneously with the start lever. Never attempt to clean the blades of wound grass or soil if the battery is inserted in the device.

Recommendations

In terms of maintenance, we recommend cleaning the blades after each use and regularly checking the condition of the gearbox. To maintain long battery life, do not leave it discharged for extended periods and store it in a dry environment at room temperature. The machine is not designed for work in extremely hard, stony or waterlogged soil, where the motor could become overloaded.
