The HECHT 51060 is a battery-powered ATV designed for leisure activities. The front wheels are equipped with mechanical disc brakes controlled by a lever on the handlebars. The lever lock feature is especially useful when parking. The wheels on the rear axle are directly connected to the electric motor. There is no chain or cardan shaft transmission, which significantly increases the machine's lifespan and reliability and eliminates common maintenance associated with these transmissions. A mechanical disc brake is also located on the rear axle. Both rear wheels engage and brake simultaneously, and a differential is unnecessary for a vehicle of this weight and size. This design allows the ATV to easily tow a trailer, which can be purchased separately.

The ATV is built on a solid steel frame. The rear axle with the motor is mounted on a suspended swinging arm. The front wheels are suspended on independent sprung arms.

The ATV is equipped with a speed limiter controlled by a key-operated box with three levels:

• 1st level - up to 8 km/h
• 2nd level - up to 20 km/h
• 3rd level - up to 35 km/h

The speed limiter cannot be switched without the key. This ensures that an inexperienced driver cannot arbitrarily control the maximum speed you set. Maximum speed is up to 35 km/h.

The electric drive is completely silent and emission-free, making it possible to operate in many places where combustion engine vehicles are complicated or directly prohibited. Neighborhood issues related to noise and emissions are no longer a concern.

The ATV's speed is controlled by twisting the right handlebar grip, similar to a motorcycle. Forward and reverse directions are set using a switch also located on the handlebars. Where you would find a fuel tank cap on motor vehicles, there is an LED indicator showing the battery charge status. Lights and a horn are also included.
