The urban electric bike HECHT PRIME is a reliable bicycle designed for daily use in the city and countryside. The low-positioned frame allows easy mounting and dismounting. Whilst riding, pedalling is significantly assisted by the automatically engaging electric motor. You can effortlessly ride uphill without any strain. The operation is as simple as with a regular bicycle. The assistance engages with a single button press and the electronics handle everything else. The motor only starts assisting when you begin pedalling, and switches off as soon as you stop. Therefore, even seniors can easily operate this bike. It's ideal for daily commuting to work, shopping, visits, as well as recreational rides around the area. Using the buttons on the left handlebar, you can set 5 levels of motor assistance or completely disable the assistance. With assistance, you can easily ride up hills that would make even the most seasoned athletes break a sweat. It's equipped with a spacious basket in front of the handlebars and a carrier. Under the carrier is a modern Li-ion battery that allows the bike to travel up to 60km on a single charge. Operating the electric bike is straightforward. Everything is controlled by three buttons on the left handlebar. You turn the electric bike on or off with a long press of the M button; a short press of this button allows you to switch the information displayed on the screen. The plus/minus buttons (+/–) allow you to set the assistance intensity across five levels. An interesting feature is the walk assist. A long press of the minus button (–) switches the bike into walk assist mode after two seconds, and it begins moving at approximately 6km/h. You'll certainly find this function useful, for example when pushing the bike up a steep hill. Walk assist is only activated whilst holding the minus button (–). As soon as you release the button, the bike stops immediately. The Li-ion battery has a capacity of 11.6Ah / 418Wh at 36V voltage. From complete discharge, the battery is fully charged with the supplied charger (included in delivery) in approximately 5 hours. The motor output is 250W. The maximum speed of the bike with assistance is 25km/h; upon reaching this speed, assistance automatically disconnects and reactivates when speed drops below 25km/h. The bike thus meets the conditions for operation on public roads as specified by current legal regulations for the Czech Republic and most other EU states.

The bike's range with assistance on a single charge is up to 85km. The bicycle can naturally be used with assistance switched off, however, it's necessary to account for the fact that the integrated motor with gears in the rear hub creates slight resistance whilst riding. Finally, those with health problems or who aren't confident about their fitness can enjoy trips and cycling. Compared to a traditional bike, the electric bike has the advantage that you won't get tired whilst riding – you can arrive at work or school without breaking a sweat along the way.
