HECHT 796 is a cultivator that can become an excellent foundation for a versatile helper in every garden. Thanks to the rich optional accessories, you can easily teach it to plough, ridge, dig up potatoes or weed in addition to cultivation. The power is provided by a four-stroke HECHT OHV engine with an output of 4.5 kW. The gearbox provides two forward speeds and reverse. In first gear, the axles rotate at a maximum speed of 82 revolutions per minute, with second gear engaged it is up to 113 revolutions per minute. The working blades rotate at the same speed. If you fit the cultivator with 4.00-8 rubber wheels, in first gear you will reach speeds of up to 6.4 km/h, after engaging second gear the cultivator runs at speeds of up to 8.8 km/h. Starting is handled by a classic pull cord on the front of the engine. A choke is also included for cold starts. You can easily adjust the engine speed with the lever on the right handlebar, on the left handlebar you will find the clutch and electric engine switch. The gear lever is conveniently accessible under the handlebars. The handlebars can be quickly adjusted to the desired height, easily adapting them to the work being performed or the height of the operator.
