Place the daily dose of dry food in a clean bowl. Cat should have an access to the food bowl throughout the day. The recommended dose is only a guide and the specific size of the food ration must be determined according to the individual needs of the cat (influenced by age, health, activity, condition, etc.). For pregnant and lactating cats, the number of kittens in the litter plays a significant role in the ration size. In case of kittens it is important to base this on the expected size/weight at maturity (kittens that will reach a weight of about 3 kg at maturity will have different energy intake requirements than kittens weighing about 9 kg at maturity). Ensure plenty of fresh water throughout the day.
