Powerful sand filtration without a coarse debris prefilter. The tank capacity is 13.6 kg of sand, with a water flow rate of 4.54 m³/h. Recommended sand granularity is 0.45–0.55 mm.
The filtration system is equipped with a four-way valve, which simplifies maintenance.
Most of the time, the valve is set to filtration mode. In this mode, pool water flows through the sand filter, trapping impurities, and the cleaned water returns to the pool.
Switching the valve to backwash reverses the water flow direction in the filter. The sand is stirred, releasing trapped impurities, and the dirty water is discharged through the drain.
In rinse mode, water flows normally but is also discharged into the drain. This mode is used to resettle the sand in the tank, flushing out any remaining impurities.
The final mode is winterization, used when the pool is out of service.
When adjusting the valve, the pump must always be turned off to avoid damaging the valve!

The filtration system includes a pressure gauge to monitor system pressure. This allows you to track proper filtration operation and when backwashing is required. If the sand filter becomes too dirty, water flow slows, and pressure in the tank rises. When the pressure exceeds the recommended level, the sand must be backwashed using the four-way valve.

The filtration system is supplied without a coarse debris prefilter. Coarse debris filtration is typically part of skimmers, where maintenance and cleaning are easier. If your pool is equipped with a skimmer with a coarse debris filter, this filtration system may be the right choice for you.

The filtration system features flanges for hoses with a diameter of 32 and 38 mm. Hoses are not included; the hose diameter should match the pool and skimmer flanges and connections.

Filtration dimensions: 46 x 37 cm, height 63 cm. Dimensions are approximate and should account for attached hoses or the vertical space needed to operate the valve.
