Smart battery charger - HECHT 2013 Smart battery charger - HECHT 2013

Product description

HECHT 2013 is an automatic 12 V battery charger with an output current of up to 15 A. The charger operator does not have to worry about anything but the connection the charger to the battery, thanks to intelligent status monitoring at the charging terminals. Lead acid (Pb, LEAD-ACID), gel, EFB and AGM batteries can be charged. The charger automatically selects the most suitable charging waveform (charging currents are from 2 A to 15 A). Batteries with capacities from 4 to 300 Ah can be charged.

Another interesting feature is the BOOST function, in which the battery is quickly recharged so that the car can be started after only 5 minutes of recharging. This function is triggered by a single push of a button on the charger panel and will certainly be appreciated especially in the winter months.

The charging progress and battery status are indicated on the charger display. Terminal short-circuit protection, terminal reverse polarity protection and terminal sparking protection are provided when handling the battery. At the same time, automatic termination of charging is ensured if the battery is damaged and the voltage drops below 2 V. Cables with terminals are placed in the case directly in the charger and don´t get tangled anywhere when carrying.

On the back of the charger there is also a classic 12 V "lighter" socket. This can be used to power 12 V devices. For example, if you use a 12 V car fridge, you can easily power it from a regular 230 V socket on holiday. On that purpose you can use the charger as an adapter. Similarly, you can power various 12 V chargers for tablets, phones and other miscellaneous devices that are designed to plug into a car socket, but the maximum current must not exceed 7 A.
