The HECHT 9924 cordless chainsaw brings the ideal combination of quiet operation and uncompromising performance. This machine is powered by a modern system with a nominal voltage of 40 V DC (provided by two paired 20V DC batteries). Thanks to this, the saw provides stable power without the need to refuel with petrol or drag extension cables.
With a motor that develops up to 7,800 revolutions per minute and a maximum chain speed of 14 m/s, cutting wood is fast, precise and highly efficient. The saw is fitted with a quality guide bar measuring 14" / 35 cm in length, making it a perfectly versatile helper for both pruning garden trees and preparing medium-diameter firewood.
The cutting system used has a chain pitch of 3/8" with 52 links. The guide links have an optimal width of 1.1 mm (0.043 inches), which minimises material resistance during cutting, ensures a clean cut and saves battery energy. Smooth automatic lubrication is provided by an integrated oil tank with a capacity of 150 ml, with the manufacturer recommending the original HECHT CHAINOIL as the preferred lubricant. For replacement purposes, the manufacturer recommends a cutting chain of type 31E52E.
In addition to excellent performance, the HECHT 9924 boasts a top level of safety and ergonomics. The construction is equipped with a reliable electric chain brake, whose average braking time from maximum speed is a lightning-fast 100 ms, which immediately stops the chain in the event of kickback and protects the operator. All this technological equipment is housed in a perfectly balanced and lightweight chassis – the net weight of the saw is just 3.9 kg. Working with it is therefore exceptionally comfortable, physically undemanding and, thanks to zero emissions, also considerate to your surroundings.
