The saw has ergonomically shaped handles with anti-slip surface treatment. Robust adjustable base plate ensures firm guidance during cutting, cutting accuracy is also enhanced by the integrated laser. This is activated automatically whenever the trigger safety lock is pressed. The metal blade guard is fitted with a dust extraction port to which a suitable vacuum cleaner can be connected.

Battery operation of the saw brings many advantages, primarily you are not restricted in movement by any power cable, as with conventional electric saws. It often happens that when cutting a long cut, the cable gets caught somewhere and the operator must interrupt cutting. This is not a risk with a cordless saw. In other cases, the operator of an electric saw accidentally cuts through a cable hidden under the material being cut whilst cutting, which can be life-threatening. This is also not a risk with a cordless saw.
You can easily use the cordless saw anywhere, without the need for extension cables, even where electricity is not available. Its use is the same as with electric saws.

The saw is supplied without charger and battery, as optional accessory for cordless drills HECHT 1277, 1278 and HECHT 1279, which are supplied with a pair of batteries and charger. Alternatively, the charger and batteries must be purchased separately.

Maximum no-load runtime with 2Ah battery: 35 minutes.

Warning: Not compatible with 6Ah battery HECHT 001289BX and 8Ah HECHT 001290BX due to larger battery dimensions.
