The e-bike is not only a sports tool, but also a unique transport.
The e-bike is equipped with axle wheels with extremely wide tyres. Such equipped bikes are often also referred to as Fat Bike or Snow Bike. The characteristics of these extremely grippy, high-damping tyres allow riding in snow, sand or mountain terrain.

You can also use the HECHT COMPOS XL in urban traffic, where you can easily avoid traffic jams and usually arrive at your destination much faster than if you were travelling by car or public transport. The bike can be quickly folded in just a few movements, so you can easily fit it in the lift and it won't get in the way in the office or apartment. You don't even have to deal with parking problems. No more problems with parking meters or paid parking zones in the centre of big cities.
These features are why e-bikes are becoming a popular means of transport not only for students; they are also increasingly being used in big cities by successful business people, saving them so much valuable time.
The battery is hidden in the e-bike frame, so it doesn't get in the way. You can charge the battery directly in the bike, but it can be easily removed, and if you store the bike where there is no electricity, you can also charge the battery separately at home. The charger is included in the delivery. The battery is secured against theft with a key lock.
The motor and gears are completely hidden in the rear wheel hub. The electric motor is activated automatically when you step on the pedals. The e-bike therefore does not work like a motorcycle, but helps you significantly when pedalling. Using the buttons on the left handlebar, you can set 5 levels in which the motor will assist you, or switch the assistance off completely. With the assistance, it's easy to ride up a hill that will make even the most hardy athletes sweat.
The operation of the e-bike itself is easy. Everything is controlled by three buttons on the left handlebar. You can switch the e-bike on or off by long-pressing the M button; by short-pressing this button you can switch the information displayed on the screen. The plus/minus (+/-) buttons adjust the intensity of the assistance in five steps. Long press the plus (+) button to turn the headlight and display illumination on or off. An interesting feature is the walk assist. By long pressing the minus (-) button, the bike switches to walk assist mode after two seconds and starts moving at approximately 6 km/h. You will certainly use this function, for example, if you are pushing the bike up a steep hill. The walk assist is only activated if you hold down the minus (-) button. When you release the button, the bike stops immediately.
The front light consists of a highly illuminated LED. The headlight is battery-powered, but thanks to the use of LEDs it consumes almost negligible energy. There is a red tail light under the seat, which is powered by its own integrated battery.
The bike is equipped with a SHIMANO derailleur and a seven-speed cassette (the so-called seven-wheeler). The front and rear wheel are braked by TEKTRO ARIES disc brakes. The front fork is suspension, which you will appreciate when crossing canal hatches and often neglected potholes in the road. The HECHT COMPOS is also equipped with mudguards and a carrier. The total weight of the bike including the battery is 26 kg.
The Li-ion battery has a capacity of 10 Ah at 36 V. From full discharge, the battery is fully charged with the supplied charger (included) in approximately 4 - 6 hours. The maximum speed of the assisted bicycle is 25 km/h, after reaching this speed the assistance is automatically deactivated and reactivated when the speed drops below 25 km/h. The bicycle thus complies with the conditions for road traffic set out in the current legislation for the Czech Republic and most other EU countries. The range of the assisted bicycle on a single charge is approximately 60 km. The bike can be used with the assistance switched off, but it is necessary to take into account that the integrated motor with gears in the rear hub puts a slight resistance when riding.

HECHT COMPOS XL is primarily suitable for urban environments, but that doesn't mean it can't be used for trips. The bike will also be appreciated by seniors who can easily ride to the shops, post office or visit friends in the next village.
Finally, even those who have health problems or are unsure of their fitness can enjoy trips and cycling.
Compared to a conventional bike, an e-bike has the advantage that you won't get tired while riding - you can get to work or school without breaking a sweat on the way.
