E-bike - HECHT GRIMIS

The e-bike is not only a sports tool, but also a unique means of transport.
You will appreciate the HECHT GRIMIS outdoor sport e-bike for longer cycling trips or hill climbs. If you play sports or are on long journeys through the countryside, it will enable you to perform better and always arrive at your destination full of energy. It's up to you how much power you put into pedalling. An e-bike allows you to get where you would otherwise have to go by public transport or by car by a combination of your own power and the set assistance of an electric motor.
The battery is completely hidden in the frame, so it doesn't interfere with the bike's sporty design. Similarly, the electric motor, including gears, is completely hidden in the rear wheel hub. The electric motor activates automatically when you pedal. So the e-bike doesn't work like a motorcycle, but it does help you pedal significantly. The buttons on the left handlebar allow you to set 9 levels in which the motor will assist you. With the help of the motor, you can then easily ride up a hill that will make even the hardiest athletes sweat. You can also switch off the electric motor assistance.
The large, clear display shows the battery charge, current speed, the set level of electric motor assistance and the number of kilometres travelled. You can also view the average and maximum speed.
Operating the e-bike is easy. Everything is controlled by three buttons on the left handlebar. To switch the e-bike on or off, long press the M button. The plus/minus (+/-) buttons are then used to adjust the intensity of the assistance in nine steps or to switch it off. Long press the plus (+) button to turn the headlight and display illumination on or off. An interesting feature is the walk assist. By long pressing (2 seconds) the minus (-) button, the bike switches to walk assist mode and starts moving itself at approximately 6 km/h. You will certainly use this function, for example if you are pushing the bike up a steep hill. The walking assist is only activated if you hold down the minus (-) button. When you release the button, the bike stops immediately.
The front light consists of a pair of highly illuminated LEDs. The headlight is battery-powered, but thanks to the use of LEDs it consumes almost negligible energy. Under the seat is a red tail light that is powered by its own integrated battery.
The HECHT GRIMIS is equipped with a SHIMANO shifter and derailleur, type Acera. The bike is equipped with three derailleurs and a seven-speed cassette (i.e. three-wheel front and seven-wheel rear).
The front and rear wheel is braked by TEKTRO ARIES disc brakes. The front suspension fork RST has adjustable stiffness.
The solid aluminium frame gives the e-bike high rigidity; the whole bike weighs just 19 kg.
The Li-ion battery with SAMSUNG cells has a capacity of 7.8 Ah at 36 V. From full discharge, the battery is fully charged with the supplied charger (included) in approximately 5 hours. The maximum speed of the assisted bicycle is 25 km/h; once this speed is reached, the assistance is automatically deactivated and reactivated when the speed drops below 25 km/h. The bicycle thus complies with the road traffic conditions laid down in the current legislation for the Czech Republic and most other EU countries. The range of the assisted bicycle per charge is approximately 55 km. The distance is of course influenced by the rider's weight and the terrain. Of course, you can use the bike with the assistance switched off, but you must take into account that the integrated motor with gears in the rear hub puts a slight resistance when riding.

Because the entire electric drive system is cleverly hidden in the bike's design, you'll avoid the taunts of trained cyclists and probably surprise them with the ease with which you tackle even the steepest hills. Finally, even those with health problems or who are unsure of their fitness can enjoy trips and cycling.
