Garden Rider - HECHT 5168

The HECHT 5168 is a compact garden rider designed for comfortable and efficient maintenance of medium-sized lawns. The machine is equipped with a reliable four-stroke Loncin engine with a power output of 4.5 kW (6.1 HP) and a maximum torque of 14 Nm, which provides sufficient power for regular mowing of even thicker grass. The engine has a displacement of 224 cm³ and operates at a maximum speed of 3600 rpm, with the recommended working speed also being 3600 rpm.

The rider uses a hydrostatic transmission, which allows smooth speed regulation without the need for gear shifting. The maximum speed of the machine reaches approximately 9.3 km/h forward and 3 km/h reverse, ensuring easy manoeuvrability when working around trees, flower beds or other obstacles. The working cutting width is 66 cm and the machine is equipped with one blade approximately 651 mm in length. The cutting height can be adjusted in 6 positions ranging from 30–80 mm, making it easy to adapt the lawn height to current conditions or desired appearance. The cut grass is collected in a 150-litre collection basket, which allows longer work without frequent emptying.

The fuel tank has a capacity of 2.5 litres and unleaded petrol (E10) is used as fuel. For proper engine operation, SAE 10W-30 engine oil is recommended, with the oil capacity being approximately 0.5 litres. The machine is equipped with an electric starter, which significantly facilitates engine starting. The total weight of the rider is approximately 129 kg and the working width of the machine corresponds to the cutting width of 660 mm. The tyres have dimensions of 13" at the front and 15" at the rear, which contributes to good stability and traction during operation.

Thanks to its compact dimensions, good turning radius and comfortable seat, the HECHT 5168 is an ideal choice for users who want to comfortably mow a larger garden without effort. Safety and Recommendations

When working with the rider, always wear sturdy work footwear and appropriate clothing. Before mowing, check that there are no stones, branches or other objects on the lawn that could damage the blade or be thrown from the machine. Do not use the rider on slopes with a gradient greater than 25% (14°) and always pay attention to the stability of the machine during operation. Regularly check the condition of the blade, oil level, tyre pressure and tightness of all connections. After each use, we recommend cleaning the machine of grass residue and storing it in a dry and well-ventilated place to ensure long life of all components.
