HECHT 9280 is a combined blower/vacuum. Switching between blowing and vacuuming modes is achieved by a simple nozzle change and attaching the collection bag. For easy starting, the engine is equipped with a choke, and it is started classically with a starter cord.

In vacuum mode, leaves are sucked through a large nozzle to steel mulching blades positioned in front of the turbine, which significantly reduce the volume of the sucked material. The bag is equipped with a shoulder strap that carries the entire weight of the collected leaves, reducing strain on the hands during operation. The connection between the bag and the vacuum is designed with an elbow joint, allowing for relatively free movement.

The blower mode allows you to quickly blow leaves into piles over large areas, including clearing leaves that contain hard objects such as nuts, stones, or branch pieces that could damage the vacuum during suction. The blower can also be used to blow dust and debris off sidewalks, out of hard-to-reach corners, or to clear cut grass from pathways, and it can even handle freshly fallen snow in winter. When using the blower, it’s important to remember that the fast-moving air stream can propel certain objects at high speeds, so caution is essential.
