The HECHT 343 pump, powered by a two-stroke petrol engine, is suitable for use in areas where electricity is not available or where it would be unsafe to use an electric pump.

The pump is powered by a HECHT two-stroke 43 ^cc, 2 HP engine. The weight of the pump is 9.5 kg. It is equipped with 47.8 mm threaded flanges for hose connections, and includes flanges with reducers that can be fitted with 1.5" (38.1 mm) hoses. The delivery therefore includes the pump itself, 3 hose clamps, 2 hose connectors (reducers), 2 hose connector tightening rings, 2 seals and 1 suction basket to prevent the pump from clogging.

The design is based on conventional surface pumps, therefore it is always necessary to water the pump after installation before starting pumping. The suction depth of the pump is up to 8 m, the pump discharge is up to 35 m. The maximum pumping capacity - flow rate is 15^m3/h.
