Petrol chainsaw - HECHT 954

Petrol chainsaw with a displacement of 53.2 cm3. Two-stroke engine with 2.7 HP. The saw is supplied with a 40 cm long HECHT bar and a 0.325'' / 1.5 mm chain with 66 links. The type designation of the chain is HECHT 25Q66E. Greasing of the chain and bar during cutting is provided automatically by a pump from a tank integrated directly in the saw. The chain travel speed is 21.8 m/s.

Great emphasis has been placed on safety at work. The saw is equipped with a safety brake and the average chain stopping time from the maximum speed is 0.1 s. Another safety feature is the positioning of a pair of saw trigger elements on the main handle, which significantly reduce the risk of unintentionally starting the chain feed when the engine is running. The saw is equipped with a steel tooth support which prevents the saw from jumping out of the cut during shocks (when used correctly) caused, for example, by the chain getting caught in the cut.
