Petrol lawn mower - HECHT 5408

The HECHT 5408 is a mower designed for regular mowing of areas up to 700 m2. It is powered by a 79.8 cm3 four-stroke petrol engine with a rated power of 1.3 kW (1.75 HP).

The mower is based on a chassis made of durable reinforced plastic. The rigidity is increased by mouldings and special moulding which give the chassis a similar rigidity to metal, with the advantage that it does not corrode. The cutting height is adjusted by screwing the wheels into the holes in the chassis. The lift height is then from 25 to 65 mm. The mower reach is 40.6 cm. The grass clippings are collected in a 45 l basket.

The mower is started using the conventional push rod, for cold starts the engine is equipped with a fuel injection primer.
