Fans can make hot summer days much more bearable. You can choose from pedestal fans, where the basic model features three air flow speeds and automatic oscillation to circulate air throughout the room. Air coolers work similarly to fans, but thanks to their water reservoir they can cool and humidify the air. The basic model again offers three ventilation speeds, whilst higher-end models are further enhanced with remote control, timer or ioniser.

Portable air conditioning units use a similar principle to a refrigerator for cooling. They extract heat from the air, which is then expelled outside via a hose. The hose is typically installed simply using appropriate accessories into a partially open window, where the heat is blown out. Air conditioning units are supplied with remote control and ventilation hose.
