The HECHT 56155 is a battery-powered quad bike with approval for road use. It can be registered as a normal vehicle and with the appropriate technical certificate, registration plate and compulsory liability insurance can also be operated on the road. The quad bike can thus become an economical and environmentally friendly means of transport to work, on the way to shopping, etc... But it can also serve equally well for work in the garden.

It is equipped with a keyless switch box. Instead of a key, a remote control is used, in the presence of which the quad bike is activated. Without it, the electronics will not switch on. The remote control also activates or deactivates the alarm. For transporting smaller loads or purchases, front and rear carriers can be used, and the machine is also equipped with a towing device (ball) for towing trailers.

The maximum load capacity is 120 kg. A 1200 W electric motor is used for propulsion, which is powered by a 72 V / 20 Ah battery. The calculated range per charge is 48 km. The realistic range at an average speed of 24.5 km/h with a driver weight of 70 kg is 39 km. The charging time is then about 8 - 10 hours depending on the state of discharge. The maximum speed of the quad is up to 45 km/h. The speed and range is of course influenced by the weight of the driver and any additional load, terrain, driving style, tyre condition and many other aspects.

The quad bike is equipped with front drum brakes and rear fluid disc brakes. Both brake levers can be locked in the depressed position, which is useful for parking on a slope, for example, or when transporting. The engine is mounted on the rear suspension axle, the transmission from the engine to the axle is via a closed gearbox. There is also a reduction gear, which is operated by a lever on the right side under the handlebars. The front wheels are on independently sprung suspension arms. Large tyres with rough tread are mounted on sophisticated aluminium rims for perfect traction even off-road. A digital speedometer is mounted on the handlebars. The machine's predatory appearance and acceleration make it close to "adult" quad bikes with an internal combustion engine. However, the essential advantage is the completely silent and emission-free operation. It can therefore be operated even in places where noise or the smell of exhaust fumes could bother the surroundings.
